VUOLAS is accommodation concept for nature tourism which connect architecture and industrial wood construction to meet today’s accommodation requirements. The holiday village is easy to build with VUOLAS concept ecologically. VUOLAS villas are manufactured at the factory, so construction is cost-effective and fast. The traveler enjoys the luxurious furnishings, impressive finishing touches and flooded landscapes. Solid wood frame and transport-friendly design allow for a light foundation and portability.

Classic
Bright and well equipped loft apartment CLASSIC has floor heating, kitchen and hot water for use with a shower. In the A-model it is possible to have a roof window with extra charge. CLASSIC models with optional ventilation and cooling. All models has a solid CLT-frame, but insulated stuctures also available.

Family
The biggest model of VUOLAS collection suitable for up to 6-person families. The space has been brilliantly used and familiar elements have been introduced from the traditional Finnish summer cottage: Separate bedroom and sauna. The floor plan also allows for a tight placement with this models without losing a privacy. All models has a solid CLT-frame, but insulated stuctures also available.

Eco
The ECO model is designed for use in an environment without water, drainage or electricity. The modules have a solid CLT structure and a gas-powered kitchen and water heating. The kitchen-living room is heated efficiently with a fireplace and the equipment level of this model allows for a comfortable stay in the nature conditions. Solar power system is included as a standard. Wooden beds are optional.

Camp
A summer use model that updates traditional camping cottages with modern design and impressive landscape windows. CAMP models has a solid CLT structure that serves as a visible surface for outdoor and indoor. Electrical, sockets and lighting are included as standard. Wooden beds are optional.

Technology
VUOLAS modules are simply made of solid wood. Cross laminated timber (CLT) is a load-bearing structure, insulating structure and also visible surface inside and outside. The CLT structure is moisturizingly breathable but highly airtight and energy-efficient.

“The first idea was that there is now something other than an ordinary anonymous hotel room! The end result highlights the strong experience that comes from both the nature of the space and the materials. The warm solid wood creates a warm hut where to snuggle down. Extensive glass surfaces bring nature and landscape close to resident. The graphic layout and finished details finishes the final result. “
